NoteDrop Documentation

Everything you need to know about using NoteDrop to create file notes in seconds.

Installation

  1. Download NoteDrop

    Download the latest release from the NoteDrop website or the Mac App Store.

  2. Move to Applications

    Drag NoteDrop.app to your Applications folder.

  3. Launch the app

    Double-click to launch. You'll see a document icon appear in your menu bar.

Requirements: macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later

Quick Start

Once installed, you can create your first file note in seconds:

  1. Select a project folder

    In Finder, navigate to any project folder.

  2. Trigger NoteDrop

    Press ⌃⌥⌘N or right-click → Quick Actions → New File Note.

  3. Write your note

    Type your note and press ⌘↩ to save.

That's it! A professionally formatted PDF is saved to your project folder.
